Introduction
The Healing Prayer School
The Healing Prayer School is a conference ministry founded on Anglican, charismatic, evangelical theology and doctrine, whilst continuing to explore creative use of the sacramental in its approach to wholeness. This ethos has found acceptance across the supposed barriers of denominations, churchmanship and language in both the UK & Europe. Conferences are for anyone wanting to continue on their journey to becoming more like Jesus, particularly those who have exhausted themselves trying to find unconditional love and acceptance.
Lin Button has been involved in Healing Prayer for more than thirty years with her own well established private practice. She continues to research and develop healing prayer in the context of both conference teaching, prayer ministry and counselling. Whilst the need for counselling and prayer ministry has become widely accepted over recent decades, Lin’s conference and teaching ministry has experienced remarkable growth and seen increasing numbers of lives changed significantly. Her heart is to impart a biblical understanding of the human condition and through the ministry of the Holy Spirit, to set people free and on their journey to wholeness through the cross of Jesus.
Each day begins with Bible reading and worship, which is followed by teaching, healing prayer and occasional small group work. Lectures are given by Lin Button and other experienced members and guests of the Healing Prayer School. Prayers, quotations and other references used during the school are contained in an extensive Teaching Manual, which is available for purchase.
Lin is Pastoral Coordinator on the staff of All Saints Church, Woodford wells, Essex. Lin is married with two sons and six grandchildren. Her husband Ron is the Conference Director.
